Bookshelf Scavenger Hunt Challenge
Hosted by CaughtReadHanded
This was a difficult one for me. You see, I only just got a real bookcase (yay me) and most of my books are still boxed and bagged up in a cupboard in my room. I wasn't going to do this but then I took a look and I had six!!!
Here we go...
Find a book with the following criteria on a bookshelf:
1. Find an author with the same initials as you
I could use my own, self pubbed short story collection but that might be cheating. Other than that all I got was T.S.Eliot. My initials are T.S. I think my brain dozed off.
2. Find a book with the colour yellow on it
The Good, The bad and The dumped by Jenny Colgan. It's bright yellow, and I have no idea where it came from.
3. Find an author's name with the letter "S" in it.
Suzanne Collins (Easy!)
4. Find a book with a female protagonist
My whole shelf near enough, but I settled on ... The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black. Simply because Tana is awesome.
5. Find the longest book you own
Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler at just short of 700 pages.
6. Find a book with a map in it or on it.
Social Sciences - The Big Issues is an old University course book and has a ton of mind maps in it... they count right?
7. Find a book with a face on it (photograph or illustrated)
Kiss of Death (Morganville Vampires) by Rachel Caine.
Bonus: Find something on your shelf that isn't a book
Bonus: Find something on your shelf that isn't a book
Yankee Candles - A bunch of them. They are my other addiction. When books fail... smelly candles.
I also learned something. I need to read more authors that don't have a surname beginning with C.
Here's my picture - It took three tries to make them stand up. Also forgive the pic. My books aren't that tatty and worn out really.
I just recently bought The Coldest Girl in Coldtown because I read and loved Holly Black's Doll Bones. I can't wait to get to it! Thanks for playing along. :)

It's the first book of hers that I have ever read. I think I might be reading more.
